light possible, in the largest font available? This article mentions
Apple in only two of 19 paragraphs. It seems to me that the
focus of this article is the emerging digital music market in Asia,
and the headline should reflect that. Have you ever known Apple
to announce its business decisions before they're ready to be
put into play?
Another article today, "iPods are security risk, warns analyst" is
about security concerns over portable storage of all types.
Again, an inflamitory headline pointed squarely against Apple.
Good journalism is impartial journalism. A statement of fact with
no bias or slant. Is this too difficult a rule to follow?
obvious on this website. CNET should follow this rule:
If Apple isn't the main focus of the article, don't mention it in the
headline.
Maybe CNET is irked by Apple because their marketshare is so
small yet their products make such a huge impact. Or maybe, it's
because if they were any other company they would have passed
out of existence by now. Despite this, there is no reason CNET
should cast Apple in a bad light unless it is a commentary/
opinion piece, which I notice this is not.

They should be unbiased technology journalist for ALL FORMS OF TECHNOLOGY, but money talks & integrity walks.
