"Bass,...
... who was born into a Fort Worth oil dynasty and is known for his own investments as well, declined to say how much he had put into this venture. But he maintains that there is a market for 300 supersonic jets over 10 years. His aim now is to find a manufacturer to share the risk of a five-year development program estimated to cost $2 billion..." Never Say Never - until a real attempt is made at something. Let us all see you go for it Mr. Bass!

How...
... about the question of the possibility of boycotting this "Paris Air Show" in support of the U.S. Servicemen and Servicewomen who have put and are putting their lives on the line for others to Live Long And Prosper; France, although being a NATO Member country having declined to support the efforts in safeguarding the "peace" and "other resources" in certain countries of the Middle East!

Ban or burn?
I think the global warming hysteria is bosh, and that the real cause of our modest temperature rise
is increased solar activity. I also believe that, in any case, a bit of warming (unlike cooling) won't
do major harm and may have major benefits.

But given the current fear-mongering political climate, something must be done to keep our
politicians occupied until good sense returns. What better target than a few members of the super
rich who want to breakfast in NYC, lunch in London and dine that evening again in NYC. Not being
able to do that isn't something most of us would call pain.

We have two options. We can ban any private jet flight that doesn't have the C02 to passenger ratio
of a fairly full 747, or we can tax the living daylights out of this sort of travel, so much so that
even billionaires would find it painful.

And we should require all our politicians to post online the details of every private jet flight they
take.

Remember, from the Goresteria perspective, nothing less that the livability of our planet is at
stake. Banning these CO2-glutinous flights is the least we can do for Mother Earth.
