911 or without 911, let the people choose.
With or without 911 let the people choose.

This is America, a so called free country right?
Well let's keep it that way and make the VoIP
providers clearly display if they provide the 911 service or not, just like the cigarette packs that clearly display that if you smoke you could die.

Making this information mandatory means that if you choose to get a VoIP service from outside America "SKYPE" http://www.skype.com or the more popular latecomer "AdCalls Communicator" http://www.callonmydime.com these companies will either have to be blocked out of service in the US or will have to comply with the US law.

Now think about it... Is this a cover-up or not by the US government?
I think it is a cover-up... why! because without this service their is nothing they can Tax (VAT), oh my are they tricky or not...
I think that this is their plan and it might just work.

However if they come around and try to Tax (VAT) on the amount that are being charged for the VoIP service they will be at a loss since with the AdCalls Communicator http://www.callonmydime.com
it is absolutely free to call any telephone in the US or Canada.
So the question remains; How do you Tax (VAT) FREE?.

You Go Figure!

Sure...
Because what thinking adult would choose to have 911 services when they are having a heart attack, right?

Sheesh.

I've said this over and over on this forum. VOiP providers are going to get people killed over this. Unfortunately, that's the only way I see them bein pushed into complying with 911 service regulation.

You are right about "what if".
You are right about "what if" and the life must go on I guess.

Try to see the big picture.

Life is a beautiful gift and living in America is an even greater gift where the opportunity for freedom and entrepreneurship is just around the corner. Freedom is priceless and we have it, so let's not throw it away over the niggley stuff.
If people want 911 let them pay extra or choose a provider that supports that service, remember VoIP has been around for 15 years and only in the
last 10 months have you been hearing about it in this country and lastly it is not so much that you CANT call 911 because you sure can, it's the
tracking feature that are missing.

Ask yourself this very important question:
Why now , why not then, why is it that all the fuss about VoIP and 911 starts now.
Let me tell you why. The phone companies have been milking the US cow until it was drained and the competition became overwhelming. On every
corner you see someone selling cell phones and thru the Internet utilizing VoIP the competition is showing up by the hundreds.
Finally the giants woke up, AT&T leading the force but the battle was already lost to companies such as AdCalls Communicator http://www.AdCallsCommunicator.com and the other very successful SKYPE www.skype.com.

By implementing the 911 service they can now start taxing the VoIP and that will leave out any outsiders that do not want to comply. So the bottom line is this, how do we control the Internet? well you are starting to see how this government in the US are trying to do it right in front of our very own eyes and no one is barking. Maybe later, but then it will be too late.

This is big money that is involved and all the way from government down to the smallest company out there they are going to squeeze out competition unless it is made in America.
Naturally first being outsourced and then imported back to the US to be sold.

OK as we say "bring it on" and then we will find a way to charge you sales tax.

What happened to broadband by the way? Is that available in every corner of this country?
Let me inform you, not in my corner due to lack of customers according to SBC, and that was said
after the promise that everyone in America would have access to broadband at an affordable price by 2002, maybe not in that order but I do remember they said 2002 and look where we are today. Nothing has changed for the last 4 years and yes those of us that lives in rural areas welcome the competition with or without the 911 feature and trust me on this "we will survive".

911 is a sneaky cover-up so this government can start charging taxes and keep out the competition.
