mach 10 commercial planes?
mach 10 commercial airplanes, i hope not. thats like a plane with a bomb on its back. maybe computerized pilotless f22's flying to their target in less time than needed only if nato allies allow america to fly these super fast planes over their airspace.

More usefull for orbit.
The more speed you can build in atmosphere, the less rocket fuel you need to get the rest of the way to orbit. A practical scramjet could mean a big change for future space missions.
