Former PalmSource president and chief executive officer David Nagel has joined the board of directors of Tessera Technologies, a materials technology firm specializing in miniaturization. His membership on the board was effective as of May 19, the San Jose, Calif.-based firm said in a statement on Wednesday.
Nagel, who has a Ph.D. in perception and mathematical psychology, worked with AT&T and Apple before joining PalmSource. He also served as head of human factors research at NASA?s Ames Research Center.
