Ex-Palm CEO Yankowski to head Majesco

Game publisher Majesco Friday named former Palm chief Carl Yankowski as CEO and chairman of the board. Yankowski, who is also a former president of Sony Electronics, replaces Jesse Sutton as CEO. Sutton will remain with the company as president. Morris Sutton, who currently serves as chairman of the board, will become emeritus chairman.

Yanowski joins Majesco as the game publisher plans major expansion in the European market and contemplates acquisitions and partnerships for growth. Majesco makes PC and video games for major gaming systems such as Microsoft's Xbox, Sony's PlayStation, and Nintendo's GameCube and Game Boy.
