You can have your cake and pay for it too now that Evite.com has teamed up with X.com's PayPal.

Starting early next month, customers at party-planning site Evite will be able to send invitations that allow guests to pay for entry fees, chip in on the cost with their credit cards, or have their checking accounts debited via PayPal.

PayPal is a person-to-person payment method that allows people to email payments. Evite said the new offering will allow event organizers to collect fees quickly and in a safe environment.

PayPal launched in January and has surpassed 2 million customers.
