The Sims: Football!
From the sound of this piece, EA could just as easily have taken
ideas from The Sims if this career mode includes guiding a
character through his life as a football player. EA owns Maxis which
produces The Sims, so it's not a huge leap to think that EA added
elements of play from one of the biggest selling franchises in
computer game history.

Sounds like sour grapes on the part of the developer.

Oh, this happens all the time with big companies
They hear what the little guy has, then steal it after saying that they
didn't want it. Then the little guy sues, but most times the big
company bares the little guy under so much legal stuff that the
little guy gives up and lets them get away with it. Lets see if this
guy sticks it out or not.
