E-commerce company grabs advisers

Rearden Commerce, which makes software used by companies to automate operations including the shipment of packages and the management of employee travel, has made a series of appointments to its business and technology advisory boards. The newcomers have experience with companies such as online transaction provider PayPal and travel companies Sabre and Travelocity.

Terrell Jones--who founded Travelocity, served as chief information officer at Sabre, and currently sits on the board of ISP EarthLink--will sit on both of Rearden's advisory boards. Joining the technology advisory board is Chuck Geiger, the former chief technology officer of PayPal and a former employee of Travelocity, Sabre and American Airlines. Meanwhile, Michael Durham, the former chief executive of Sabre and a veteran of American Airlines, will join the business advisory board. The two panels already include executives from Google, Sun Microsystems and Wal-Mart.
