This is highly extraordinary news for science, as well as severely disabled people!

Once perfected, This will greatly help disabled people. If/when they can make this so an inplant isn't required, There's plently of uses for this in non-medical uses as well.

as the article states this has been done before. MANY times before. Wired had some excellent articles about this type of work some time back. talked about a monkey using robotic arms to peel and feed himself a banana all via sensors implanted in the brain. old news...
