Delta to put Wi-Fi hot spots in lounges

Delta Air Lines and carrier T-Mobile USA announced Monday that broadband Internet access will soon be available through T-Mobile Wi-Fi hot spots in several airports through the Delta Crown Room Club business lounge program.

This fall, a majority of the 40 club rooms in airports throughout the United States will begin offering hot-spot service, the companies said. Crown Room Clubs already offer the service in the airports in Atlanta; Cincinnati; Denver; Salt Lake City; Nashville, Tenn.; Tampa, Fla.; and Raleigh/Durham, N.C. People who sign up for a year's service pay $29.99 per month, while those who get month-to-month service pay $39.99 a month. Members of Delta's mileage program can earn up to 3,000 bonus miles through the annual plan or 3,400 miles--over a year--with the monthly plan.
