Dell announced Tuesday it has partnered with Altiris to streamline server updates and patch management. Dell's OpenManage 4 Systems will integrate its server update capabilities with patch-management software via the Altiris Management Suite.
The combined OpenManage-Altiris package is designed to unify system software update tools, operating systems and applications via a click of the mouse.
