Michael Dell lies in Print!
by drudixon1 January 28, 2005 11:39 AM PST
Nice to see Michael Dell lying in Print! For Desktops ask Michael who Mitac and Foxconn are, or for laptops ask him who Compal, Wistron, or Quanta are. Those companies are the manufacturers which design and make the Dell products that Dell pseudo assembles. What's so funny is that manufacturing of Dell systems that Dell boasts of is performed mostly by contracted help so he doesn't pay them benefits and by his Communist business partners. His proposed plant in NC will be largely contract workers who's "manufacturing" will consist of turning a screw driver about 9 times, putting in a hard drive, and taping a box. For all the scrutiny IBM is getting for selling to China, Dell, considering its much larger volume, is a much bigger supporter of Chinese Manufacturing.
