Interest in wireless technology is heating up dramatically, with companies of all stripes getting involved in some form or fashion. IBM, Sprint and others are busy making deals to offer wireless services internally and to customers.

Sprint, MCI to push wireless Net services The companies aim to make a space in an established market dominated by broadband cable and DSL services, both of which already claim hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
