SONY BOYCOTT FOREVER.
WHY would you buy a SONY VAIO laptop?

Is it already pre-infected with the Sony RootKit Virus?

Make a smarter choice: Buy Dell, Gateway, Samsung & Apple.

Thousands of computers are still under repair from the Sony
Rootkit virus, and Millions of dollars of damage must be
repaired. And that is only the computers where people have
been able to discover the infection, according to the news
media.

Sony/BMG is under investigation, being sued by multiple states,
and being sued by multiple Countries for the Sony Rootkit virus.
It is possible that more litigation will lead to major financial
losses for the company.

Many people have already chosen to Boycott Sony Laptops, Sony
HDTVs, Sony Radios, Sony Music, Sony Cameras, Sony Movies,
Sony Games, Sony EVERYTHING.

I mean, can you Really trust them with your data?

Retailers in our area have moved the Sony products to the back
pages of their advertisements. Ya, you can still buy the Sony
stuff, but you'll have to walk past all the Samsung, Toshiba,
Panasonic, Sharp, Kodak, HP, and other manufacturers'
products.

After all this trouble because of the Sony virus,
What would your boss think if he saw you hooking up a Sony
laptop to the corporate network?

Is he going to trust you?

If something bad happens,
will you take the blame?

Sony PC tech support
Sony lost my business after my VAIO purchase due to poor tech support. And a friend returned her VAIO notebook because Sony tech support was awful.

Sony
I would not care if Sony sells this computer for $50, I would not buy from them. I have a laptop here that was returned to them five (5) times and on the last time they returned it it was still not repaired. I phoned them and was told that they had replaced the monitor, the mother board, and various other parts and, Warranty or No Warranty, THEY WERE NOT GOING TO SPEND ANOTHER DIME ON THE COMPUTER AND THAT IF WANTED I COULD JUST SUE THEM!!

SONY can go straight to you know where and I will never, ever, as long as I live, purchase another SONY product. Buyer Beware! You know, a few years back, their entire repair staff in Atlanta Ga was fired and they closed the facility because over $1.5 millions of product and equipment had been stolen at the facility. This entire garbage lack of character eminates from the top most reaches of this Company.

Buyer Beware! The U.S. body of this Company is headed up by a bunch of crooks!

Questions feel free to contact me.

Deal of the Day is not so great.
I own a Sony GRV series notebook. Sony's support after the sale is
sparse and disappointing to say the least. Personally, I would never
think of buying another Sony computer.

SONY: The Spyware Company
This is the same company that has been caught loading spyware onto peoples' computers surepticiously. Why would anyone buy something from them?

Additionally, Sony's laptops are pretty cheesey and don't hold up well to travel.

Finally, as you can see from other posts here, they have a customer service ethic that is better suited to el cheapo consumer electronics than to expensive computer equipment.

Sony Ripoff
I for one will not buy from Sony til they pay for repairs to my computer, which was caused by their DRM crap, tried to remove it, now my CD burner & DVD burner do not work. OS is not working correctly either, will have to reformat & reinstall.
