Crime site to watch McVeigh's last days

USA Networks-owned Crime.com says it will provide coverage of events surrounding Timothy McVeigh's May 16 execution, Webcasting the events and activities outside the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Ind., as McVeigh awaits death by lethal injection. Crime.com, an interactive partner of Crime, a new 24-hour cable channel launching later this year, said two Webcams will provide viewers on-demand access to the activities outside the penitentiary.

Last month, Internet company Entertainment Network sued the Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Prisons in an attempt to gain rights to Webcast the execution. A federal judge denied its request, and Entertainment Network declined to pursue an appeal. McVeigh was given the death penalty for killing 168 people in the bombing of a federal building in Oklahoma City six years ago.
