Mozilla's Firefox Web browser will come bundled with Corel's WordPerfect Office X3-Home Edition 2007, Corel announced Thursday. In addition to the free open-source Web browser, the $79 home edition consists of software for word processing, spreadsheets, CD/DVD burning, photo and video applications, and Norton security features.
In January, Corel announced the availability of a standard edition of Corel WordPerfect Office X3 that includes WordPerfect X3, spreadsheet client Quattro Pro X3, Presentations X3, and WordPerfect Mail, a new searchable e-mail client.
Since its reentry as a public company, Corel has been expanding and revamping its product line. The beta version of WinZip 11.0, released in October, has been updated to handle BZ2, RAR files, and higher-quality compression for WAV files.
