Corel discounts software for students, teachers
Corel launched the new version of the WordPerfect package--which combines word processing, spreadsheet and other applications--early this year, positioning it as a low-cost alternative to Microsoft's dominant Office. WordPerfect competes in an increasingly crowded market for alternative productivity software.
- IBM offers their Office package for FREE
- Why pay for MS or Corel? IBM offers their Office package (Lotus SmartSuite) for FREE with all their PCs and ThinkPads! Plus, it can read and write to MS Office and Corel. MS can't say that! Why isn't there an article about that?
