On the minus side, I want to study Planetary Geology an I think there is no real replacement for road trips.
My favourite online class was a Communications class in persuasion the toughest one online was Chemistry - which had a Saturday lab.
Many classes already have forums and materials online which are nice supplements and a convenient way to connect with peers, but I couldn't imagine taking my Japanese Edo class online. Having an on-site class in the Seattle Asian Art Museum was definitely a highlight in college.
