Clear Channel finds streaming partner

Clear Channel Communications on Wednesday said it has partnered with VitalStream to deliver its radio broadcasts over the Internet. Irvine, Calif.-based VitalStream, a subsidiary of investment firm Sensar, will provide streaming services for some 200 Clear Channel radio stations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

San Antonio, Texas-based Clear Channel operates approximately 1,225 radio and 37 TV stations in the United States and has equity interests in over 240 radio stations internationally, according to the company's Web site.
