Pay for the right to sell me

Data companies should have to pay for the right to sell information about me. My personal, professional, economic, and historical information it mine and should not be subject to fair use. Making free month off of my information should at least involve some form of payment to me.

And should also put a heavy burdon on companies to secure such information or be held liable for the damages to individuals who are scammed through identify thieft.
