China Afraid Of Democracy
The CNET headline should have read, "China takes desperate measures to stifle free thinking". Their crackdown on cybercafes using a bogus excuse of "Internet addiction" is just a feeble attempt of their COMMUNIST government to control young minds. Heaven forbid that China's youth might have access to offshore proxy servers that let them read uncensored news. China's Premier Wen Jiabao recently said that "Democracy will emerge once a "mature socialist system" develops but that might not happen for up to 100 years."
