What's going on in Costa Rica.
Wow, I'm more curious about Costa Rica allowing all this sites than the actual celebrity endorsement.

Why Costa Rica? What's the incentive ($$$$) is their government getting.

I'm curious.

The "celebrities" are doing it 'cause they have no life or future in their careers. So, any crumb would do.

What the US gov't really wants is a cut.
Let's not fool ourselves - the government's only interest is control and taxation of the industry. (Oh, and the money they get from the conglomerates who own many brick & mortar casinos here.)

The online gaming industry has shown itself, by and large, to be stable and as safe as say, buy.com or ebay. Gambling may be morally repugnant to some, but it's allowed in brick-and-mortar form here, so why not online?

Money.

Online Casino Gambling in US
It is quite strange the U.S govt is also banning non-gambling related websites. So basically any website which promotes the idea of online games are under scrutiny. Several recreation gaming websites are facing the brunt of U.S gambling laws.regards, http://www.crystalpalacecasino.com
