Cambridge Technology funds new Web-based software

Cambridge Technology Partners said it has led the first financing round for the development of Access International's new line of Web-based philanthropy management services. Access, based in Cambridge, Mass., develops charitable fund-raising and management software for nonprofit organizations such as the United Way. Cambridge Technology, once a leader in the services and consulting industry, makes investments in Internet services and infrastructure companies via its own venture capital funds.
