Cablevision plays games with Real

Optimum Online, Cablevision Systems' broadband Internet service, announced a deal on Monday to offer RealNetworks' RealArcade video game service to its subscribers. Subscribers will be able to download video games from the Optimum Online home page through a service called Optimum Arcade, powered by RealArcade. Customers can buy one game at a time or take out a subscription.

The deal extends a relationship between Cablevision and RealNetworks. Last year, RealNetworks offered free streaming radio for any Optimum Online customer subscribing to its Rhapsody subscription music service.
