CSC, General Dynamics extend contract

Computer Sciences Corp. has extended its IT outsourcing deal with defense contractor General Dynamics, the companies said Thursday. The 7.25-year extension could be worth up to $1.6 billion, though the companies did not specific the nature of the projects.

The General Dynamics deal follows other major contracts that CSC has signed in recent months. Other recent deals include a 10-year, $1.35 billion contract with Ascension Health and one with Chicago-based insurer Aon for $600 million.
