Computer Associates International acquired privately held Control-F1 and intends to incorporate the company's help-desk software into CA's management product line. Terms were not disclosed

Based in Calgary, Alberta, Control-F1 makes specialized tools to aid technical support experts in troubleshooting computer problems and automating repairs. The company had been a partner of CA and had already integrated its products with CA's Unicenter Service Desk software.
