CA buys into mainframe ID management
The software, called eTrust Cleanup, is for managing password access to mainframe systems. The company's program is designed to identify user names and passwords that are no longer being utilized. CA said the InfoSec software will help its customers comply with industry regulations for administering employee information and securing mainframe access. For the past two years, CA has resold eTrust Cleanup as a third-party product.
