Broadbus picks up more than $12 million

Broadbus Technologies is expected to announce Monday it has raised more than $12 million in its first funding round. Battery Ventures and Charles River Ventures led the round, with Comcast Interactive Capital, Wolf Ventures and other private investors participating. Representatives from Battery and Charles River will join the company's board. Boxborough, Mass.-based Broadbus produces video-on-demand server systems for the cable television industry.
