Traditional oil and utility companies say they've looked at clean-tech initiatives and just don't see a payback.

These companies should start taking their unreasonably high profits and do two things: invest some of it in alternative fuels, and help people in need!
long term threats and can only deal in short term issues. This is a
very threatening problem, and cannot be solved on a piecemeal
short term basis. We have to support political candidates that will
force the issue. This is is a world war, just as much as WWII. It calls
for extdraordinary methods. A carbon tax, rationing of energy will
change the bottom line picture.Failure to do so will result in
widespread poverty in 30 years. Take this seriously.

into the geo-thermal. Instead of drilling for oil, drill for the geo-
thermal energy.
