Beta testing set for "Mythology"

Microsoft will accept applications this week for 10,000 beta testers to try out the multiplayer version of "Age of Mythology," the upcoming addition to the hit "Age of Empires" series of PC strategy games. Potential players can sign up starting June 21 at the game's Web site.

"Age of Mythology" is set to go on sale this fall and will add mythological elements to the history-based game play in "Age of Empires."
