- Perhaps Google can just drop these papers from its results if blocking the chached copies when the content owner wishes is not technically easy to accomplish. The vacuum would eventually be filled with sources of the same information that do not object to their contents being cached.

- The copyright holder should be able to control how his content is used. And Google is free to set the terms under which it will index a site. If they can't agree, exclude the site from the Google search. What's the problem?
