Triple play

AT&T wants their own triple play offering to compete against Comcast and Verizon obviously. Echostar will give them the TV to add to their wireless and and local and long distance offerings. What does AT&T have for broadband though?

DSL isn't getting any faster and cable already beats it. They probably are looking into Echostar providing the bandband by sattelite too.

Does anyone remember the old att and att broadband when it was the largest - or second largest - cable provider in the country. It was a bad idea then and it nearly sent the old att bankrupt, prolly the reason sbc was able to buy att. Here's a novel idea for companies, do what you know just do it better than anyone else. Imagine if coke suddenly wanted to buy mcdonalds to be the triple threat in artery clogging food.
