BMC Software names new CFO
BMC Software appointed John Cox as acting chief financial officer
after the resignation of William Austin. Cox joined BMC in 1989 as
manager of taxation. He was promoted to vice president in 1998 and chief
accounting officer and controller in 1999. BMC promoted Robert Beauchamp to
chief executive earlier this month, replacing Max Watson.
