NOt cooperating -excuse me

Whenever people from western world think of India and other countries the only thing that comes to mind is poverty . How poverty was responsible for such a large scale damage is not clear. Mr. Hilton Root is of myopicc thinking when he says information could not reach these countries in time. India is the backoffice of world handling all kinds of traffic from US. Dont you think there is a hotline that exists between US President and Indian Prime minister. There is a very good infrastructure for telecom in India. Wasnt it the responsibility of Mr. Hilton or his associate organisation to warn people of subcontinent about the incoming disaster. This is the first time India has experienced this type of trouble hence the equipment was not installed. But if we depend on our so called " friends and natural allies " in US we dont know where we actually might end up.
Also when he talks of cooperation he should read news from www.timesofindia.com that how India is helping Sri Lanka rebuild itself or how many ships it has committed to that country. Misinformation is a bad thing Mr. Hilton.
