Apple store planned in Minnesota

It's the latest round of "Where will Apple Computer open retail stores?" The company will soon open a store at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn., the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported, citing a mall spokeswoman. As it has in the past, Apple declined to comment on any plans for retail outlets.

Earlier this month, the Chicago Tribune reported that Apple has leased a former Gap store along the Windy City's Michigan Avenue shopping district. Other reports have linked Apple to a number of locations, including Palo Alto, Calif., Glendale, Calif., and Littleton, Colo.
