Amazon, Target open online store

Amazon.com and Target launched their jointly run online store Wednesday as part of a deal announced last month. The "Target store at Amazon.com" sells apparel, home furnishings and jewelry, among other items. As part of the five-year deal, Target will next summer begin using Amazon's order fulfillment, e-commerce and customer-care technology for its other online properties, such as MarshallFields.com and Mervyns.com. For more than a year, Amazon has been striking deals with merchants to oversee their e-commerce operations, usually getting a percentage of sales in return.

For Internet retailers. for start ups who need low-cost, high-powered e-commerce.

Take a close look at http://system.fastcommerce.com/. It is FREE for up to fifty products, or $30 for 2,000 products. and it is great. beautiful templates, complete back end for order processing. beautifully designed, easy to use.

For my small clothing store, fastcommerce is good for me. I don't believe in all big companies because they have so many customers. Selling in ebay and Amazon is not so easy as before.
