Amazon offers discount to A9 search users

It's a small discount, but it does come with a pun that's really funny if you're a math geek.

Of course! Be wary..
Of course! What a brilliant idea. They're motivated to encourage Amazon.com users to sign up with A9.com because A9.com correlates a users entire search history (or _entire browsing history_ if using the A9 toolbar) with the users Amazon.com account.

All your searches (or worse, every page you browse) are correlated with your Amazon.com account (and along with it name, address, CREDIT CARD and BANK ACCOUNT numbers, etc.) That creates an incredible marketing database for them!

When you're on A9.com check out the privacy policy. It's pretty bad. No other search engine correlates your browsing history with personally identifiable information. They can sell that kind of data for a lot of money.
