Adobe Systems late last week settled a lawsuit brought against it in 2002 by International Typeface Corporation. In the suit, ITC had accused Adobe of breach of contract and had maintained that it owned copyrights in Adobe's font software that produced ITC typefaces.
San Jose, Calif.-based Adobe said terms of the settlement were confidential. ITC, located in Woburn, Mass., was not immediately available for comment.
