AT&T Wireless supports Treo 600, GoodLink

AT&T Wireless announced that its GSM/GPRS (Global System for Mobile Communications/General Packet Radio Service) network will support PalmOne's Treo 600. The cellular carrier said it has begun selling the Treo 600, a combination cell phone and organizer device, for $549.99. Numerous rebates are available for the gadget. The Treo 600 comes with a keyboard and lets customers wirelessly surf the Web, send and receive e-mail, and make phone calls.

Redmond, Wash.-based AT&T Wireless also announced that it has made Good Technology's GoodLink service available on its network, and the service is compatible with the Treo 600. GoodLink is primarily a two-way wireless messaging service but also allows subscribers to access data from a company's network.
