AOL announced Wednesday it acquired GameDaily and related GameDaily Biz newsletter. AOL acquired the publication and Web site from Gigex, for an undisclosed sum.
The Internet giant plans to use GameDaily as its flagship video games brand, within the AOL Games Network. The AOL Video Games editorial team will also be folded into the GameDaily editorial.
