Not a toy
Why would a downside to a decent camcorder be that it doesn't take still photo's or shoot in zero light?
For decent video you have lights so there's no need for 0 lux shooting mode, if you want to take a still photo then you use a digital camera. This technology is long awaited for some of us and people who want to shoot video will find this product excellent, there's no need for gimicks

This is not a true HD camcorder!!!
Look at the specs. Its panels are 1440x1080 pixels. This is a 4:3 panel. It is stretching the pixels horizontally to get the 16:9 display. To be true 1080i HD camcorder it would have to have 1920x1080 panels.
