This is a business tool, and in my opinion, battery life is critical. The new self dimming screen is kind of cool, but backlighting of LCD's takes up the most power on most devices. If I would get this new one, I would turn off the backlight. And yes, this device does not inculde a digital camara. So what? Another useless conponent that is not used by a working class person.
