Metropolis: "I found myself late one night on the roof of my building in Brooklyn, admiring the Manhattan skyline," designer Paul Capello wrote. "It was from the shapes of the buildings themselves, and how the man-made light played in front and behind them that I was reminded of the 1927 Fritz Lang movie 'Metropolis.'"
