    [The iPad and e-readers] are two totally different devices. My iPad is far too heavy to read books with. The screen doesn't work in sunlight, which is where 90 percent of my reading is done--in the sunroom or in the backyard. The iPad works fine for comics and PDF files, but for actual novels that you read for hours at a time, I use my Kindle.
