- SOX Compliance is a huge hassle

- While many elements of the SOX Act are good IT business practices, much of the compliance seems to generate huge amounts of paperwork and forms filling. For companies with small IT staff, preparing for SOX often gets in the way of the main job... providing IT support for our users. I don't want to see another Enron episode repeated either, but I wish some of the SOX requirements were toned down, or scaled to fit the realities of smaller firms.

- Waaaaa I have to much work to do.....You hit the nail on the head when you stated that SOX was good IT business practices, It is not by any means getting in the way of there "main job" give me a break. All its doing is making sure people are doing their jobs they are getting paid to do in the first place!
