on your own time, on your own computer. That is acceptable use. Use of cmpany equipment to run your personal life is not some kind of right. Can you imagine Walmart cashiers emailing and surfing from their checkout computers?. ROTFLMAO

That word is an abused word nowadays. It seems as though everything is a right and nothing a responsibility.

I want to shoot people when they talk about their 'rights'.

I have to fully agree with you. I'm sick of hearing about it also.

An employer should have the authority to dictate how their resources are used.
