My guess it that you would rather have a bulldog on your rear end than Eliot Spitzer. It is amazing how Intermix Media has found "religion" now that the heat is on. It will be interesting to see if spyware purveyors clean up their act or just get sneakier.

I hope this is a "Death Penalty" offense

Any company doing spyware should crash and burn as a warning to others. Lets hope they push out some jail time for the actors in this too and not just the "company" they worked for.

Spyware, scumware, whatever ware is one of the things that's making the Internet so frustrating. I hope (but doubt) that some of these scum will get some serious jail time (and fines.)
