I've been using Thinstation for quite a bit now and it's working out great. Easy to configure and set up and works with just about any operating system server. http://thinstation.sourceforge.net

(3 Comments)This thin-client software is nothing special. Its just another thin-client OS. Except now it can sit on a more powerful computer while it clogs the network with unnecessary traffic.
They theory of dedicated thin-client networks went out of favor with mainframes, and I have yet to see any strong justification for bringing it back. New implementations of old ideas, whether proprietary or open-source have not changed the landscape one bit.
