It's tough....

... to appreciate web services when there seems to be no
succinct definition of web services. 'Sharing information with
greater ease' says virtually nothing. Maybe someone will have to
show an actual web service which WSM makes a significant
difference.

maybe entirely different, but WBEM was designed specifically for managing enterprises via the web. I think the author missed this.
